Remarks & Notes
Baldwin passenger sharks 5771 and 5783 wait at South Amboy for a North Jersey Coast train to arrive from New York behind a GG1. The mid-day trains were hardly long enough to rate 4,000 h.p. but these units weren't known for reliability.
