| Built in 1955 as ITC 780. The raised drop step was one of many options ordered to make the IT SW1200s suitable to work with their GP7s on road trains, as they often did. 1206 is seen here with IL route 3 overhead, a day after receiving a wash. The Respondek family keeps a good looking fleet of locomotives at the various operations I've visited. |
