Remarks & Notes
A westbound CSX empty hopper train crosses Pleasant Creek, seven miles out of Grafton, West Virginia, en route to the Brooks Run mine on the Cowen Subdivision, while clouds streak by in the moonlight. The Baltimore & Ohio Railroad built the viaduct in the 1930s as part of a line relocation due to the construction of Tygart Lake. Click here for another view of this bridge on a foggy morning.

A far cry from the common wedgie ... and particularly well executed.
