On April 9, 2009, an F1 tornado skipped across Cross Lake in Shreveport and struck 12 cars of a KCS freight, toppling them over. The pleasant weather on April 10, with a crane flying off the small pond in the foreground, belies the unpleasant weather the previous evening.
