| With much of Union Pacific's roster of SD40-2's in storage, it's a real treat to catch two SD40's (including a former SP SD40T-2) working a long distance local on the mainline. Here UP's weekday only Provo-Lynndyl turn accelerates up to track speed on the Sharp Subdivision with 30 cars of local business. First stop today is at Longview Fiber in Spanish Fork where 8 box cars will be set out. Next, 22 covered hoppers will be set out at Ashgrove Cement at Martmar in Leamington Canyon. It's just another busy day for the crew of UP's LJL57 local. |
