| View into the cab (tender not attached) of the Montreal built (1946) ex french Railways Mikado 141 R 1244 (2-8-2), which is under overhaul in the shed of association "Mikado 1244" in Brugg since 1998. On the left (driver) side you can see parts of the new Oerlikon brake system, which replaced the Westinghouse. The oilfired 141 R 1244 will run again this or next year in a superb olive paint scheme. |
