| Pittsburgh was not merely a city of long lines carrying passengers downtown. A number of suburban neighborhood routes provided local service as well. The 1699 is spotted on West St at 18th in Homestead PA on Route 65, which carried many a worker to the local steel mill downtown on 8th Av. |
