Remarks & Notes
The trolley fleet at Lowell National Historical Park pretty much hibernates from late November until early March. With the city plows constantly piling snow and ice near the grade crossings, operation of these cars during the winter months is relatively impractical. With that in mind, the sight of the bright yellow Car 4131 leaving the Boott Mill exhibit this fine Sunday afternoon is a sure sign that the long, cold winter is finally losing its grip on New England.
