Remarks & Notes

The dead trees testament to the extent of "Lake Thistle" from a couple of years previously, a westbound freight snakes its way down Spanish Fork Canyon behind 5401 and 5355 as it heads on the new alignment towards Thistle in August 1985. Barely visible up the valley are helpers 5398 and 5348 tacked on the rear end.
