| Former SNCF-Mikado 2-8-2 141 R 1244 was built in 1946 by Montreal Locomotive Works and came to Switzerland in 1976. Since 1998 the locomotive is undergoing heavy maintenance and will be operational again this or the next year for the association "Mikado 1244".
On this day in octobre 1980 the locomotive pulled a heavy 14 car train from Winterthur to Mulhouse and was pictured on a photo runby in Etzgen. |
