| A SD70ACe leads 3 other EMDs and a long train headed for Barnes through the frigid Columbia Gorge. The icicles hanging from the nose of UP 8332 help demonstrate the strong grip winter held on the Pacific Northwest when a series of snow events blanketed the region with usually high snow totals, well-below freezing temperatures and wind. |
