| A VRS employee performs the difficult task of sanding a loco by hand. The 60 lb bags had to be lifted from the truck to the running board, from there to the nose and then poured into the sand filler. With the temperature hovering around zero the employee went from sweat to chill. Where's the glamour in shortline railroading? |
