| After leaving the Lewistown Branch it was a straight shot back north 102 miles from the junction at Sipple to Great Falls. Here the train is rolling north just about to the junction with the Central Montana Railroad that operates the former GN branch toward Lewistown and then the remnants of the MILW Central Montana mainline. It's cold and windswept but absolutely beautiful on the high plains of "Big Sky Country." |
