The Spencer local pushes thru a decent drift near MP 163, just west of Sexton. With the train traveling 10 mph the snow begins to pile up on the front of the locomotive. This train was loaded at Hartley, IA, near MP 235, and has 88 loads bound for Chicago, IL.

Landscape photography is difficult due to the challenge of combining good light and good scenery. Good railroad photography enters another level of complexity since it requires the first two while there is a train in view.
