| Traveling back from Colorado and a family vacation over the Christmas holidays, the only shot I got on the day after New Year's was Eleanor next to the ex FWD mainline between Vernon and Electra. Memories abound here of chasing coal empties up from Wichita Falls back in the 70s and 80s and flying over the crossing to get on the south side of the tracks, not too far from where I stand now. This unit is ex MKT rebuilt GP7 #118. |
