| A visitor from south of the border and a sister from the East Coast look a bit out of place in the winter wonderland that is the west slope of Marias Pass on BNSF's Hi-Line Sub. Regardless, the two make a fine site as they drift downgrade over one of the ex Great Northern's many scenic highlights...this double tracked trestle over a small stream feeding into the middle fork of the Flathead River. This bridge is also known as the Sheep Creek trestle and is located about 4 miles east of Essex. |
