Remarks & Notes
Looking north at the watchman's tower at James Street and Railroad Avenue on the New Jersey and New York Railroad between Central and Passaic. For many decades watchmen controlled the manual crossing gates on the Pascack Valley Line of the Erie Lackawanna from these iconic towers running through the county seat of Bergen County. Photrographer is unknown.
