Looking north at the Passaic Street watchman's tower on the New Jersey and New York Railroad. At this date (and for almost 15 more years) the watchman controlled the manual crossing gates on the then Pascack Valley Line of the Erie Lackawanna from this tower. Photrogragpher is Unknown.
