Remarks & Notes
There very few locations in the eastern US where steam powered trains pass each other on a regularly scheduled basis. The short list includes the Cass Scenic Railroad, the Mount Washington Cog Railway and this place...the Strasburg Railroad. Here, former Canadian National Switcher #7312 eases its eastbound train onto the passing track at Groff's Grove, while former Norfolk & Western 12-wheeler #475 waits with its passenger consist on the main line.
