Former Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway steam locomotive 3751, currently owned and operated by the San Bernardino Railroad Historical Society (SBRHS) is under Blue Flag protection at the 8th Street yards while waiting to be coupled to her train. It will be her second trip to San Diego this year and is only the second time in more than half a century that the locomotive will make the run to the city that she once visited on a regular basis during her long career with the railroad. Today she will be the premiere motive power for The American Association of Private Railroad Car Owners (AAPRCO) special convention train that will make a round trip run to San Diego Calif with the 24 car private varnish consist.
