Cab Ride on Joso Trestle; to this railfan it was one of those moments in life you never expected, but as we transitioned onto the bridge I was supercharged with an excitement that was laced with a little fear. While I consider myself relatively young, this was a moment I knew I'd not only never forget, but hoped I'd live long enough to tell my grandkids! In the lower left hand corner you can see the rails for the Camas Prairie railroad. Completed in 1912, this bridge has 55 spans with a total length of 3,920 feet and stand 261 feet tall.
