| The wonderful viewing porch at the Santa Barbara Zoo has been closed, but you can still sneak a view of the westbound Coast Starlight if you look between the trees. The tracks are the Union Pacific Santa Barbara Sub. Behind #14 is the 101 Freeway, and the beautiful Santa Ynez Mountains. In front of it is the Andree Clark Bird Refuge (aka "The Lagoon"). This Coast Starlight was running about ten minutes late this day. She was lead by P42DCs #95 (GE 6/1997) and #4 (GE 8/1996). |
