| Seeing the excellent shots by Jean-Marc Frybourg of the holiday rush at the Gare de Lyon Paris on Rail Pictures I thought viewers might like to see this shot taken at the same station 80 years ago. This 4-cyl compound Pacific was built by Cail in 1912 and lasted until December 1950. (taken on quarter plate film by an unknown photographer) |
