Remarks & Notes 
This scene could hardly be more typically Welsh, with sheep grazing on unconcernedly as a three coach 'local' train skirts along the lush valley of the River Dee. The Great Western railway and its constituents favoured the 0-6-2 wheel arrangement for tank locomotives used in the valleys of the Principality. No.5637 is a 1924 product of Swindon.
