| Interestingly enough this tunnel was named after a man named Sykes who owned a grist mill at Clinchco. Also...at the time the Elkhorn Extension was built Clinchco was 1 of only 3 settlements between Dante and Elkhorn that actually existed. The other 2 being Nora and Splashdam. |
