Remarks & Notes 
As seen in this photograph....this loaded EB coal train is traversing through one of the largest man made land mass moving projects since the Panama Canal. This cut was made to divert the railroad from the actual town of Pikeville itself as well as re-divert the Big Sandy river from the downtown area. About 3 miles of track was removed in this project and it actually reduced track mileage to 1 mile.
