On the completely rebuilt feeder line from Solothurn to the new NBS (New highspeed line Mattstetten-Rothrist) near Inkwil you can find this special equilateral switch. The 164 meter long switch has 8 motors for the 65 meter long points and 3 more motors for the movable point frog. The trains run with 200 km p.h. over this switch in both directions.
