| Another railway I only visited once is the Nene Valley at Wansford near Peterborough. It looked like rain (nothing new there then!) so I sheltered under trees among the cow parsley along the banks of the River Nene. As the rain began to fall, along came this elegant Swedish Class 'B' 4-6-0 headlight ablaze and resplendent in her blue livery. My lovely old Voigtlander 'Bessa' folding camera that takes 6cm by 9cm images captured the moment. |
