| An empty coal train from Superior, Wisconsin transitions off double track and onto single track at Eldridge. The double track begins about 13 miles to the east in Bloom and is the last piece of double track seen going west on the ex-Northern Pacific main until Billings, Montana, more than 500 miles away. |
