Remarks & Notes

A westbound Z-train runs "The Guantlet," Fargo-Moorhead's new whistle free zone right through the downtowns of both cities. The last time I caught the 5240, it was struggling to climb out of the Red River Valley on the ex-GN Hi-Line.
