Remarks & Notes |
Nightfall rapidly approaches at Goffs on the Needles Sub as a priority Z train zips westbound on Main 1 by two stopped trains. In the foreground a westbound stack train holds in Goffs Siding while in the distance an eastbound Z train awaits 919's passage so it can run around a lower priority manifest that is holding on Main 2 at East Goffs. These three trains were part of an eight train burst of activity that cumulated at Goffs over the course of an hour just after sunset. Click here to view a video of this scene. |
