Remarks & Notes
The numberplate on the smokebox front of Disneyland Railroad 2-4-4T #3, the "Fred Gurley." Built by Baldwin Locomotive Works in 1894 as an 0-4-4T for the 3' gauge Godchaux Sugar Company (Louisiana) #1, it was acquired by the Santa Fe & Disneyland in 1958 and rebuilt to its current configuration. Fred Gurley was the president of the Santa Fe, which sponsored Disneyland's railroad, when the park opened in 1955.
