| With detonators on the track exploding to mark its passing - and the passing of an era - 'Battle of Britain' class Pacific 34067 'Tangmere', in full 'Golden Arrow' regalia, sets off with the last ever steam train from Folkestone Harbour station. Plans for a new marina involve the demolition of the now redundant bridge across the harbour - but I heard a rumour that permission for demolition has just been refused.... |
