| The short lived Transcisco Passenger train ran between San Jose, CA to Reno NV for maybe a year. It was a luxury private train operated with 35 on-board service personel with Amtrak crews operating the locomotive. They used 3 ex-BNSF FP45's painted in this scheme. Ticket prices were a tad high starting at $249 so the public didn't really jump on this and consequently this beautiful train died. The location is Colfax, CA and the train is heading west. |
