MWRy #10 "Kroflite" descends the final grade into Marshfield Station. During descent, the locomotive and coach are not hard-coupled. The locomotive uses cylinder compression for braking and the coach uses conventional brakes. Note the Fireman keeping an eagle eye on the track...particularly the all-important cog rail.
