| 9,000 horse are pulling hard to get this 74 car train up out of the Carroll Creek bottoms between Mt. Carroll and Lanark. Ties are layed out for a tie project that will begin this spring that will help get some of the track speed up back up to 40mph west of Davis Jct. Almost all of the Chicago Sub right now is 25mph due to track conditions. |
