| Dash 9 4753 is the first engine in the Mid train DPU set. The train is descending through the Caliente loop and will soon round through the loop’s horseshoe curve. There are a lot of very full grain cars in this train. If you look to the right of the 4753 cab you see a blur in the hillside grass. That is caused by heat coming out of the dynamic brake unit just behind the cab. The brake vents sit behind cab near the top. |
