A memory of 1979. Merchant Navy Class no. 35028 Clan Line, has spent most of its life in the South of England. On a rare visit North, it is seen turning on the turntable at Steamtown, Carnforth, in the days when it was open to the public. Half an hour or so later, the loco departed with a main line special to Leeds and later headed back South.
