| A memory of 1979. The skyline of Manchester is on view as 47 525 climbs away from Manchester Victoria with a Liverpool to Newcastle train. These services have now changed completely - in fact they don't even leave from this station! This loco has been in storage for some years now and is unlikely ever to run again. |
