Making it's way up the grade on the York Sub, train 391 behind CN 5629, CR 6430, and NS 8012 passes under CP's Belleville Sub at Beare (Scarborough), Ontario. At the time, consists like this were not uncommon, what with Conrail units repaying horsepower hours on a seemingly weekly basis. I'm not sure what the circumstance was behind the NS C30-7 being on CN, however they were roaming the east at the time. Note the total lack of graffiti on the cars.
