| The fireman reaches down to pick up orders from WJ Tower Operator Walter Parks. Walter Parks was very friendly; generous with both his time and the shelter of his tower, inviting locals to come up and hang out with him while waiting on trains. Crews through here were also friendly, throwing down orders as keepsakes. The empties on the head end are headed south from Ford Mahwah (the raison d'etre for Southern Tier freight the time). This train is the BICR from DL&W's Bison Yard to Erie's Croxton Yard. |
