| 12 hours after the derailment, MOW crews work to clear the Autorack cars from the CP and CN mainlines. The 2 closest tracks are CP's Thompson Sub and the farthest track is CN's Ashcroft Sub. The 2 furthest Cats await the Autorack being dragged by the Dozer' so it can be put on the bank of the Thompson River for later retrieval. CN only had to replace 200 feet of track but CP was loss was much greater. |
