| The double track C&O bridge opened in 1929 and is the second largest continuous truss span in the world. It was originally operated by a C&O subsidiary with the tongue twisting name of the Covington & Cincinnati Elevated Railroad & Transfer & Bridge Company. Today, it is owned and operated by the much easier spoken company of CSX |
