On a warm summer evening in June, GRE 3839 sits quietly next to her engine cowling, waiting for final repair after being quiet for over 8 months. July 11th marked the date that it was finally put back together, and on July 17th, old 3839 was back to pounding the rails with its sister engine, MMRR 3836 (as seen in my previous photo). At a 200mm zoom, the foreground trackage provides for some interesting patterns.
