Union Pacific SD70M 2001, one of UP's two Olympic Torch Relay engines, rests at Dolores Yard in Carson, California, more than five years after powering the special Olympic torch Relay train to the 2002 Winter Olympic Games in Salt Lake City, Utah. Even under a patina of road grime, this is still a striking paint scheme. This locomotive, built in August 2001, is the former UP 4690. (May 5, 2007)
