The latest proposal to replace the 'Balloon' trams of 1930 is a new generation of each access tram, this is the only example that is being used on the Blackpool network for evaluation purposes. Note the arabic writing on the desitnation blind. This tram caught fire in early 2007 with the cab being gutted.
