Remarks & Notes 
For a time, although the SDP's were equipped with icicle breakers and plows, SP still required Amtrak to use one of the FP7's aquired from the railroad during bad weather. Seen here leading, former SP 6453 still has the single sealed beam top headlight which caused it to be known as the "cyclops".
