| Arriving at Berry, #37 will be left in Burney for future use while trailing unit #36 will take the loads from the Sierra Pacific mill back to McCloud the following day. By this time it took a full day to run from McCloud to Burney, so as there were plenty of empties stored at Berry leaving the second unit there saved them a days running time. This portion of the railroad was shut down June 30, 2006 and now awaits dismantling. |
