Remarks & Notes
Running a little late, Cascades #501 makes the shortest station stop I've ever seen; under 45 seconds. In a rare turn of events, P42 #144 is pushing up the rear. The historic Centralia Station warms in the morning sun.

With two sections of the Empire Builder, the Coast Starlight, Seattle, the Cascade Mountains, Columbia Valley and Puget Sound, Washington state offers rail buffs plenty of variety and beauty.
