Remarks & Notes

Delivered only months before to replace shrouded steam, the 903 & sister is seen after arrival at Jersey City with the Crusader. This is the earliest photo of 903 in service in the RP database so far, 900, 902 & 903 are with us in the 21st Century, the latter two restored and serviceable. Be sure to click on "RDG 903" to see the other shots of 903 through her service years and in retirement powering excursions, there is a nice collection here contributed by various RP photogs. Ansco color/color corrected in P/S
